NutcrackersNutcrackersHolidays are about family, food, fun and laughter. One of my fondest childhood memories is sitting by the fire place warming my feet after a nice hot Sauna, and a quick romping in the snow. My cousins and I would all have one of grandmas cute Chubby or German Nut Crackers all they girls would argue over who was going to play with the Prince Nutcracker he was so handsome! We had a ball making a mess with all sorts of different nuts, my favorites are Pecan, English Walnuts, Brazil Nuts, Black Walnuts, English walnuts, almonds, filberts and Brazil nuts. I guess you could say I like them all, but with so many to chose from it is hard to have just one favorite. My Grandparents sure got a kick out of how much the family enjoyed there harvest of nuts year after year. Nuts are a great snack, and fun for the kids around the holidays.
